**Job Summary:**

Key Responsibilities:

+ Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians: Takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, patient progress, physical exam, and any special tests as deemed appropriate by Provider.
+ At the direction of the Provider: Performs patient education, calling in pharmacy refills, assisting with appointments, or arranging for follow-up tests or admissions.
+ Completes appropriate forms and referral.
+ Performs Clinic Preparation: Obtains all special study reports and physical therapy progress reports prior to physician visit; as needed, scans reports into Epic.
