Certified Aviation Technician (Avionics)

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance duties including line maintenance inspections.
• Conduct routine inspections on various avionics systems on the aircraft.
• Perform fault finding and rectify based on the fault.
• Perform weekly service checks.
• Perform thorough daily inspections of the aircraft to identify potential issues or defects.
• Conduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft.
• Adhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Ensure all activities are properly recorded and signed off as per SACAA requirements, ensuring compliance with all required legal aspects.
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements to ensure personal and personnel safety, and to prevent fire and accidents.
• Maintain a safe work area, equipment, and tooling before starting any job to prevent accidents or incidents to aircraft and staff.
