**Position Summary**

The Certified Dental Assistant provides direct patient care and chairside support during dental procedures. This role assists clinical staff in patient evaluation and treatment while ensuring a safe, clean, and organized care environment. Works under the supervision of a Staff Nurse and supports patients across all age groups.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Provide chairside assistance during dental and oral maxillofacial procedures
+ Deliver direct patient care following individualized treatment plans
+ Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration, intake/output)
+ Take, develop, and label dental X-rays as ordered
