Certified Phlebotomy Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Based in outlet and perform phlebotomy on walk-in patients.
• Check patients personal information and details before collecting specimen.
• Determine the right venipuncture method based on patient @ge, health etc.
• Ensure samples are stored in appropriate containers.
• Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples.
• Label samples correctly and deliver them to laboratory for testing.
• Ensure sample are dispatched to the laboratory in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, Degree or its equivalent.
• Must possess a valid phlebotomy certification.
• Proven experience as a phlebotomist preferably in hospital/medical centre.
• Experience with effective puncture techniques.
• Able to work during weekends, public holidays when required.
