POSITION SUMMARY:
Utilize the combination of lived experience, excellent interpersonal skills and NYS OASAS approved training and certification to engage, advocate, reinforce treatment engagement and recovery goals, support recovery processes and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Provide face-to-face, telehealth and community-based interventions with patients and their identified community support systems. Provide timely and appropriate reports and documentation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required education/training and NYS Certification as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA). Will consider Certified Recovery Peer Advocate Provisional certification (CRPA-P), with a defined plan/timeline to obtain full certification. Must complete NYS OASAS background clearance.
