Certified Surgical Tech

$5,000 sign-on bonus (must be certified with 2 years of experience to qualify)
**Position Summary:**
Functions as the member of the surgical team who assists the surgeon, anesthesiologist/anesthetist and RN in delivering direct patient care during the entire preoperative experience. Acts as the primary scrub person or first assistant during the operative procedure.
**Position Requirements:**
+ Graduate of a program of surgical technology of at least one year duration and possess certification by the Association of Operating Room Technicians.
+ Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
+ Ability to function in emergency situations
+ Ability to take call as assigned and respond within 30 minutes
