Job Description

A surgical technologist is responsible for assisting the surgeon in the pediatric intraoperative phase utilizing AORN and OSA standards of practice. Collaborates with other healthcare team members to meet the patients/families needs in a cost-effective manner. Provides customer service for the patients/families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members. Functions as a team player and practices open communication with a positive flexible attitude. Assists in meeting departmental goals by participating in quality improvement activities.
