The Centre for Family Medicine seeks a skilled Psychotherapist to provide comprehensive mental health services in a patient-centered, team-focused environment. Deliver short-term therapy while collaborating with healthcare professionals in the Family Health Team.
This part-time role involves working with patients aged 12 and older, offering essential support to individuals, couples, and families. You will coordinate mental health workshops, conduct assessments, and apply diverse therapeutic models to address various issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer counseling services as per physician referrals
• Lead mental health-related workshops and groups
• Liaise with interdisciplinary team members and community resources
• Ensure effective verbal and written communication
• Maintain case notes accurately in EMR
