Character Artist

KingsIsle Entertainment is seeking a 3D Character Artist who will add life and personality to characters and creatures in our classic MMO projects as well as interesting new projects that are in the works.  The perfect candidate is experienced in hand painting textures and has a keen understanding of how to get the most out of low poly models.  They will also need to take into consideration how the character will be used by rigging and animation down the line and construct the model appropriately.

About the Role

• 3D model and texture creation for stylized characters / creatures using 3DSmax, Adobe Photoshop and 3D-Coat as well as other proprietary art tools

• Work from provided concept art and from verbal / written art direction

• Work with Animation to make sure Models are clean and that cuts are appropriately made for the movements required.
