Charge Auditor

BASIC FUNCTIONS
The Charge Auditor reviews patient charges and charts to ensure all services are accurately captured and the pricing scheme is correctly encoded. They identify discrepancies and work primarily with the nursing station, admitting, and billing department to resolve issues and maintain revenue integrity.

Education : A bachelor's degree holder in Accountancy, with a medical field as
possible.

Experience : Preferably with at least one (1) years of experience in the related field
and with Bizbox Software experience is a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews random patient charts and charges to ensure all services are accurately captured and billed to the patient's account.
• Compares documented services in the patient's chart with system-encoded charges to ensure accurate billing and proper charge capture.
