Chargeman (PW4)

Job Summary

The Chargeman PW4 will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and inspection of Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems involved in the construction and installation phase of an LRT project. This includes ensuring that site electrical supply, temporary power distribution, equipment, and installations comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), project specifications, and rail industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain temporary LV power supply for construction works, stations, and site offices.
• Inspect and certify temporary wiring, distribution boards, and power tools in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure proper load management to support equipment such as TBMs, cranes, lighting towers, pumps, and site machinery.
• Ensure full compliance with necessary government bodies and authorities
• Support T&C (Testing & Commissioning) teams by:
• Ensuring LV power availability.
