Chartered Projects Accountant Officer

1. Role Purpose
The Projects Accountant is responsible for the end-to-end financial management of Horn Ridge construction projects. This includes accurate recording of project transactions, preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with Puntland tax laws and IFRS, maintaining internal controls, and supporting project teams with timely financial insights. The role plays a critical part in safeguarding the company's financial resources and ensuring project cost efficiency.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Project Accounting & Financial Control
Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned projects including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
Record project-related revenues, costs, accruals, advances, retainers, and variations in the ERP (Odoo).
Maintain accurate project ledgers, cost centers, and standardized cost codes in line with the Finance Manual.
