Chartering Manager

Job Description A Chartering Manager is in charge of leading and guiding a team to meet the organisation's goals in the chartering business. Managing resources and risks, and negotiating with various parties on bunkers, spot and time charter deals as well as marketing tonnage are part of the job. The Chartering Executive / Manager evaluates potential business development opportunities to ensure profitability and competitiveness. This role requires sourcing optimal shipping solutions and maximising potential earnings while optimising costs. This job requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to conduct complex negotiations.
