Job Description
Our client is a globally renowned shipping company with a strong presence in the dry bulk space. As part of their continued growth, they're seeking a Chartering Manager to join their Singapore office.
The Role
This is a hands-on commercial role focused on fixing cargo and tonnage across a range of dry bulk segments. You'll be working closely with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to manage the end-to-end chartering process - both spot and short-term fixtures.
While this isn't a leadership role today, there is clear progression over time for someone with the ambition to grow and take on more responsibility.
What You'll Be Doing
Fixing dry bulk vessels (cargo and tonnage)
Managing chartering enquiries and negotiating fixture terms
Liaising with brokers, owners, and clients globally
Analysing market conditions and advising on strategy
