Chartering & Operations Manager – Tankers (SPM Terminal)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced
Chartering & Operations Manager
with a
Master Mariner (Unlimited)
qualification and substantial tanker experience. The role is responsible for managing tanker chartering, commercial operations, vessel employment, and SPM terminal interface while ensuring safe, compliant, and commercially optimized operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Chartering & Commercial Management:

• Manage spot and term chartering, including negotiations, fixture finalization, and post-fixture administration.
• Optimize vessel employment aligned with commercial objectives and terminal availability.
• Review and manage charter parties, laytime calculations, demurrage/dispatch, and commercial claims.
• Liaise with shipowners, brokers, charterers, P&I Clubs, and marine stakeholders.
• Monitor voyage economics, cost control, and commercial risk exposure.
