Chef (Cafe-Day time hours only)

Meubles Cafe are currently recruiting for a full time Chef for our busy cafe located in the Kilkenny Retail Park. Trading over 7 days, from 9am to 5pm daily, our menu includes and a range of both traditional and contemporary options for breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, salads along with a selection of mouthwatering desserts and cakes.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy fast paced environment and be able to work under pressure

The main tasks associated with the role are:

Menu development to include seasonality and freshness as key drivers of business

Preparing, cooking and serving food for a busy cafe for both breakfast and lunch,

Work closely with Deli chef and cafe team to ensure smooth day to day operations

Preparing all food in accordance with all HACCP regulations, and document same in accordance with FSAI regulations.
