About The Role

At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a dedicated Chef who can bring their skills and passion for food into our care home kitchen. You’ll play a vital role in preparing and serving wholesome, homemade meals that not only meet nutritional needs but also bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents every day.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and bring comfort to residents.
2. Maintain the highest standards of food safety and kitchen practice, applying HACCP principles.
3. Create and plan menus, ensuring balanced nutrition and appealing presentation.
4. Collaborate with the team as a positive and caring team player.
5. Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and respond appropriately, including safeguarding training and escalation procedures.
