Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Production
• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Western, Asian, and Chinese dishes according to standardized recipes and portion control.
• Supervise and coordinate preparation of stocks, sauces, soups, garnishes, and specialty dishes specific to each cuisine:
- Western: sauces (béchamel, velouté, hollandaise), roasted meats, grilled items, pastries.
- Asian: stir-fry dishes, noodle broths, curries, rice-based dishes, dim sums.
- Chinese: wok-fried items, steamed buns, sauces, and classic regional dishes.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning across all dishes.
• Apply appropriate cooking techniques for each cuisine, including roasting, braising, steaming, stir-frying, deep-frying, and sautéing.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper storage practices to minimize food wastage.
