La technologie FACTS permet aux opérateurs de réseaux électriques d'augmenter considérablement la capacité et la stabilité des infrastructures électriques existantes. Il en résulte une distribution d'électricité plus efficace pour les clients, un impact environnemental réduit et des investissements en capital moins importants par rapport aux alternatives traditionnelles.
