Chemical Analyst

Microchem Specialized Lab Services is seeking to recruit a Chemistry Analyst (ICP and Water) who will be based at our lab in Stikland Industria, Bellville, Cape Town. The incumbent is responsible for the analysis of food samples and performs general responsibilities in the laboratory to ensure best laboratory practices is maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Thorough understanding of the principles of Chemistry.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard testing protocols.
• Ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Individuals must be conversant with QA/QC and standard operating procedures.
