Chemical Engineer

Qualifications

• Licensed Chemical Engineer
• Minimum 1-2 year experience in water or wastewater treatment industry
• Strong background in water chemistry and membrane processes
• Knowledgeable in PFD/P&ID development and process calculation
• Good written and verbal communication skills (will present to clients)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare process design deliverables such as PFD, P&ID, mass balance, design basis and process parameters
• Perform process calculations including LSI/SDI, mass balance, recovery rate, rejection rate, scaling tendency and chemical dosing
• Select appropriate membrane elements, filtration media, resins and chemicals based on application and water quality
• Prepare technical proposal write-ups and bill of materials
• Conduct jar test / pilot testing evaluation and interpret results into process recommendations
