Job description:
Purpose of the Role
To safely and efficiently lead the operation of the Auto Bagging facilities within the Emulsions and Tank Farm To safely and efficiently operate and control Tank Farm activities within the Nitrates plant, ensuring the safe receipt, storage, transfer, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products.
The role is responsible for maintaining product integrity, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, supporting production continuity, and managing tank farm operations in a high-risk chemical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safety, Health, Environment & Compliance
Comply fully with plant safety rules, SOPs, and permit-to-work systems.
Conduct risk assessments (SLAM/Take 5) prior to task execution.
Ensure correct PPE usage and safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
Monitor tank farm operations for potential safety or environmental risks.
