Job Description

Our Chalk River location is looking for a Chemical Technologist to assist in sample collection, preparation, analysis, and reporting. In this role, you will also mentor junior staff in best laboratory practices and optimize work schedules and instrument analysis times in support of multiple monitoring programs. What will you be doing!  

  • Routinely checking Integrated Environmental Monitoring (EMP, EVMP and GWMP) sampling schedules to ensure required water (both surface and groundwater) and biota samples are collected as required.

  • Logging all samples collected and associated data in the branch Laboratory Information Management System.
