Responsibilities

• Sample preparation, performing analytical tests such as Oxygen/Nitrogen and Carbon/Sulphur test using LECO instrument, impurities and alloy composition by ICP;
• Perform daily calibration and carrying out preventive maintenance of analytical instruments and responsible for lab consumables stock,
• Prepare, update and review of composition, trace element and gasses trend charts and control limits;
• Review and update laboratory related procedures documentation;
• Initiate continuous improvement activities, develops work plan with tasks, timeframes and resources;
• Prepare COA and any other related documents;
• Guides, develops and mentors laboratory staffs;
• Anticipates and responds effectively to unforeseen technical problems, identifies improvement area and resolves barriers to task completion;
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed by all operation staffs;
