Chief Accountant

Job Purpose:
To lead the accounting operations of a prominent institution, ensuring the integrity of financial data, compliance with local regulations, effective fund management, and timely reporting. The Chief Accountant will oversee all financial transactions, maintain internal controls, and support strategic financial planning.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

•Supervise all daily accounting activities, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger postings.

•Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

•Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts in accordance with Lebanese GAAP and applicable legal standards.

•Prepare financial statements for internal use and external audits



2. Budgeting & Financial Planning
