Chief Accountant / Accounts In-Charge

Job Purpose

To manage and control the day-to-day accounting operations of an FMCG distribution business, ensuring accurate books of accounts, effective dealer ledger management, strong recovery control, inventory monitoring, and timely financial reporting with basic tax compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Reporting

• Maintain daily books of accounts including sales, purchases, and expenses
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and management reports
• Ensure accurate and timely billing, credit notes, and sales returns

Dealer & Recovery Management

• Maintain and monitor dealer/customer ledgers and ageing reports
• Follow up on dealer recoveries and outstanding balances
• Reconcile salesmen cash, advances, and short/excess collections
