Chief Engineer|General Engineering (VAJ)

ABOUT THE FUNCTION



The Engineering function is responsible for maintenance and planning across the hotel to ensure full availability and serviceability of hotel facilities and to minimise disruption for guests. Responsible for overseeing all repair work, preventative maintenance and reconstruction work is completed to standard, as well as ensuring functional emergency recovery plans are developed and in operation. Responsible for preparation of operational and CAPEX budgets, and meet all government safety standards pertaining to hotel operation.



WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED



+ Minimum Certification in Maintenance Engineering or related Technical field / Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management.

+ Minimum 4 – 5 years’ experience as an Engineering Specialist in a Senior Managerial role / similar experience in a 5 star hospitality industry.
