Who We Are

Alliance for a Healthier Generation is engaged in high-impact philanthropy by ensuring that “every mind, everybody, and every young person is healthy and ready to succeed.” But today in the United States, not all kids have the same opportunity for a healthy future.

Since our inception, whole child health equity has been a central tenant of Healthier Generation’s work with the recognition that poverty and educational disenfranchisement are key drivers of health and health equity. In addition, we understand that racial discrimination continues to be an explicit factor in the systemic distribution of resources that support whole child health equity. Armed with this knowledge, Healthier Generation is rapidly advancing an ambitious health equity vision anchored a measurable strategic framework, programs, and its organizational impact goals.
