Take the lead as Chief Mate of our passenger transfer vessel with Bridgemans Services Group in Howe Sound, BC. Ensure safe personnel transfers and effective emergency responses while maintaining operational efficiency.
This full-time, rotational contract role demands keen oversight of vessel operations and maintenance. You will assist the Master in ensuring compliance with Transport Canada regulations while promoting crew development and safety. Your leadership will contribute to a high-functioning team dedicated to workplace excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Master in planning safe and timely vessel passages
• Oversee vessel maintenance, including engineering and safety
• Ensure compliance with all local project rules and regulations
• Conduct pre-departure checks and inspections as required
• Support crew development and training initiatives
Requirements:
• Chief Mate 500T COC certification
• Relevant experience in marine operations preferred
