Chief Mechanic

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

-Act as Truck Mechanic and Team leader on the area.

-Responsible on repairing and troubleshooting engine and chassis problem.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Perform repair and troubleshoot/ diagnose on engine & chassis problem.

-Fixes problem with thorough inspection, analyzation, & brainstorming with his peers.

-Assists in performing tasks with other co-mechanics.

-Delegates task to his peer’s base on the requested repair of the trucks.

-Perform preventive maintenance on trucks base on the checklist provided.

-Perform pre-departure inspection (PDI) of truck base on the checklist provided.

-Prepare tools & materials to be used in repairing of problems encounter.

-Perform & meet task at high quality standards.

-Report for work on time & follow procedures and instruction at all time.

-Performs the SOP's base on the process flows provided for the mechanic to do.
