Chief Risk Officer (Credit Risk-focused)

The CRO / Head of Risk is responsible for the overall risk control functions of Netbank. This will involve oversight of:

• Identifying the key risk exposures (e.g. market risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, technology risk, operational risk, compliance risk, etc.) and assessing and measuring the extent of risk exposures of the bank and its operations
• Monitoring the risk exposures and determining the corresponding capital requirement in accordance with the Basel capital adequacy framework and based on the bank’s internal capital adequacy assessment on an on-going basis
• Review of client approval documents provided by partner facing teams
• Input into credit risk management processes
• Drafting, reviewing and revising the Risk Management manuals to cope with the current developments of risk disciplines in the industry
• Board reporting
• Secretariat to the Risk Committee, Audit and Compliance Committee
