Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Opportunity

Transform the lives of young patients as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Kelowna General Hospital. This role focuses on providing psychiatric services to youth, with a commitment to their mental health and wellbeing.
You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to the Psychiatric care of patients up to 18 years old, especially those experiencing severe symptoms. The position offers teaching opportunities and involves support from family physicians and community mental health resources to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of professionals
• Create and manage effective mental health programs
• Act as the Most Responsible Physician for hospitalized youth
