Job Description

To improve the performance of Operations by: providing constant challenge of the status quo; championing lean philosophy; implementing robust measurement of losses; facilitating the development and implementation of a continuous improvement plan.
Ensure a safe working environment, striving for zero recordable injuries in compliance with internal policies and external legislation, through the delivery of key enabling activities (. Near Misses, Safety Observations, timely completion of actions). Ensure that safety and environmental incidents are fully investigated and the appropriate countermeasures established. 
Increase the transparency of Operations by ensuring robust measurement of losses for all areas of Operations . generation of appropriate loss trees. To perform the duty of gatekeeper for the measurement system. 
Encourage a ‘management by fact’ mindset.
