The ideal candidate is expected to analyze real world systems that utilize 5G networks, at both the protocol level and the implementation level. Upon mutual acceptance, the candidate will work alongside a major 5G vendor to assist on protecting 5G networks against various security issues using side-channels. Knowledge of ORAN and Containers would be an asset. The responsibilities include attending regular research meetings and writing research articles.
