Citizenship Classes Volunteer Facilitator

Join us in empowering future Canadian citizens by facilitating impactful Citizenship Classes. Engage learners in discussions on Canadian history, government, and culture, with flexibility for online or in-person attendance.

This volunteer role is designed for those passionate about education and community engagement. Candidates must be fluent in English and skilled with Zoom to effectively deliver content. A solid grasp of Canadian history and geography is essential. You will lead six class sessions that aim to enrich adult learners’ knowledge while catering to diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct six 2-hour classes covering key topics
• Deliver classes in-person or via Zoom as preferred
• Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint for effective presentations
• Communicate complex topics simply for diverse learners
• Encourage participation from all adult learners
