Civil Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of engineers, supervisors, CAD operators, site office staff and workers in executing project designs.
• Develops work schedules and makes work assignments to design staffs, establishes priorities, reviews and adjusts schedules to meet design project requirements.
• Maintains accurate reports of contract work and other assigned activities, reviews progress, accomplishment or completion reports, purchase requests, requisitions, and reports of claims against general contractor or the clients.
• Conducts meetings and discussions with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to oversee the entire engineering and construction design project to ensure timely completion while upholding good quality and safety records.
• Works with engineers and consultants on project planning, preparation, scheduling and execution of contracts.
