Civil Designer

Matchbox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a Civil Designer for one of Canada's top emerging engineering firms for Canadian highway and infrastructure projects in the Lower Mainland. Based in their Burnaby office, you will carrying out design work, CAD assignments, site visits, and quality management assessments to support a wide range of projects. 



YOUR ROLE:

• Preparing design drawings utilizing Civil 3D tools and perform complex tasks including set-up, alignments, profiles, sections, corridors and pipe networks
  
• Complete error-free intermediate-level design calculations and/or verify design calculations prepared by team members
  
• Performing and documenting quality control checks on CAD drafting and Civil 3D work
  
• Calculating design quantities for materials and preparation of cost estimates
