Civil Engineer – Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise construction and infrastructure projects in accordance with approved plans and technical specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and project schedules.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Safety Officers, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with the National Building Code of the Philippines and applicable DOLE Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
• Conduct site inspections, progress monitoring, and quality control assessments.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, structural plans, and technical documents.
• Prepare weekly/monthly accomplishment reports and project documentation.
