Civil Engineer (Structural) - DIRECT HIRE

Summary This position is in the Technical Services Branch of the Central Federal Lands Highway Division and responsible for performing duties related to designing and developing plans, specifications, and estimates for bridges, large culverts, viaducts, and retaining walls on federally owned lands in a multi-state area. The incumbent serves as technical expert and project team leader by developing and applying sound inspection, design, construction, and rehabilitations related to structures. Responsibilities As a Civil Engineer (Structural – Senior Structural Design Engineer), you will: Interpret and apply relevant structural codes for design, construction, testing, and maintenance of structures, including seismic design and retrofit.
