Job Description

This family-run company has been working in the Lower Mainland for nearly 40 years and specializes in excavation, shoring, underground utilities, and road works within urban environments, working with cities, real estate developers, and local municipalities. They have 100 staff in total, including office and field-based employees and their office is based in downtown Vancouver.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a junior civil estimator to come in be able to learn off more experienced estimators. You will be working on 2-3 projects at any given time based within the Lower Mainland with projects ranging from $1M – $10M. The position is fully office-based and you will be reporting to the VP of Construction.

About the Position
Leads prequalification and proposal-based tendering opportunities.

Reviews tender documents, specifications, and drawings; attends pre-bid meetings to define project scope and estimating effort.
