Civil Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations, coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and suppliers.
• Plan and sequence work to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets; maintain short‑interval lookahead schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications, permits, and requirements; flag constraints early and resolve with the Project Manager.
• Provide clear direction to foremen and field teams; maintain a visible, disciplined leadership presence on site.
• Monitor daily production vs. plan; adjust sequencing and resources to avoid trade stacking, rework, and delays.
• Communicate scheduler risks, constraints, and recovery options to the Project Manager.
• Champion site safety: enforce policies and OH&S requirements; lead toolbox meetings/FLHAs; conduct inspections; stop unsafe work.
