PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of the Civil Works Design Engineer is to develop comprehensive designs, plans, and specifications for diverse civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, sewer and water systems, and infrastructure. This role requires the use of advanced software tools, meticulous analysis, and ensuring that all designs meet safety and performance standards. The engineer must interpret building codes, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, effectively communicate technical concepts, oversee engineering designs, address deviations promptly, prepare detailed project reports, participate in project meetings and site visits, ensure data accuracy, identify process improvements, stay current with industry trends, and demonstrate adaptability and commitment to organizational success.
