Claims Manager – Dry Bulk Shipping
Location: Asia / Europe (depending on candidate profile)
Company: International Shipping Operator
Reporting to: Head of Operations / Legal & Claims
Role Overview Our client is a well-established international shipping operator with a substantial dry bulk fleet and global trading footprint. They are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to manage and oversee a broad range of shipping and cargo-related claims, working closely with operations, chartering, legal, and external stakeholders. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical knowledge of dry bulk operations and a practical, commercial approach to claims management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and handle cargo, charterparty, P&I, FD&D, collision, and operational claims
- Assess liability exposure and advise internal stakeholders on claims strategy and mitigation
