Job Description
The Claims Specialist for Bad Order (BO) is responsible for implementing and strengthening claims-related policies and procedures, including the prevention, investigation, adjudication, and documentation of claims and the proper disposal of BO. The role manages and reviews incident reports, determines causes and liable parties, ensures accurate monitoring and reconciliation of damaged cargo inventory, reviews stock transfers to staff shops, conducts regular cycle counts, and prepares required reports for operations and management. It also performs site investigations, coordinates with Finance and Corporate Claims for settlement, supports inventory count activities, identifies BO buyers, maintains 5S in the work area, and performs other tasks assigned by the immediate superior.
