Job Description

Protrans Personnel Services is currently recruiting for a Class 1 Yard Night Shunter. This role is with a leading transportation company. 


Class 1 Night Shunt



4 years class 1 is required
  • Sunday- Yard Shunting 
  • Monday - Yard Shunting (Approximately 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM)
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday -- Shunting to Moncton & back, yard shunting until 6:00 AM. 
  • 25.62 per hour -Yard Shunting 
  • .0.558 / mile - Shunting to Moncton
  • 6:00pm to 6:00am
  • Blue Cross Benefits from Day 1 
  • Annual Uniform Allowance 
    • Job Qualifications: 
  • 4 years of class 1 experience -Required 
  • Clean driver's abstract (no older than 30 days)
  • Security clearance search (completed in-house)
  • Pre-employment Road Test and Drug Test (completed in-house)
