Position Overview
General Motors of Canada is seeking a Powerhouse 2nd Class Stationary Engineer to support the Oshawa Powerhouse and Site Utilities operation. A Powerhouse Journeyperson is responsible for operating and maintaining gas‑fired boilers, air compressors, heat exchangers, water softeners, chilled water systems, cooling towers, wastewater systems, high quality water systems, and other related equipment found in an industrial powerhouse.
Role Summary
In this role you will operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain utility equipment that is essential to safe and reliable plant operations. You will work closely with powerhouse leadership, maintenance staff, engineers, and site stakeholders to ensure equipment performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
