Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Newsome Junior Academy . The position is a permanent teaching role at the MPS grade with a salary band of MPS . It is based at Castle Ave, Huddersfield, HD4 6JN and requires 32.5 teaching hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out the professional duties of a Class Teacher as provided under the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document.
• Organise, manage and administer the classroom in a child‑centred manner appropriate to the age and abilities of the children.
• Plan, prepare, teach, assess and record achievement appropriately, ensuring learning objectives are clear.
• Set curriculum targets appropriate to the learning needs of the children.
• Plan skill development that has cross‑curriculum impact where appropriate.
