Cleaner

The J.D. Irving, Limited Custodial Team is responsible for cleaning tasks including but not limited to hard surface floor cleaning, carpeted area vacuuming, dusting, cleaning washrooms and kitchenettes, and the collection of garbage and recycling. The hours of this position are 5pm to midnight.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Sweep/dry mop, and wash/buff floors and stairwells utilizing manual and power scrubbing equipment as applicable.
• Vacuum carpets in offices and common areas. Spot clean daily and shampoo rugs when directed in assigned buildings.
• Empty garbage and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport garbage/recycling to collection points
• Ensure washrooms and kitchens/kitchenettes are fully cleaned including: clean/disinfect and polish fixtures and appliances, door handles, walls, mirrors, countertops, partitions, waste receptacles and floors....
