Job Summary:

The Cleaning Operator is responsible for the physical cleaning and preparation of audiovisual carriers (e.g., tapes, film reels, cassettes) prior to digitization. This role ensures that carriers are handled with care, cleaned to the highest standards, and inspected for any signs of damage or degradation. The Cleaning Operator plays a key role in safeguarding audiovisual heritage by supporting the technical chain of digitization, ensuring the cleanliness, integrity, and readiness of materials while contributing to quality control and preservation standards.
