Clearance Classifier II

Reponsible for ensuring accurate tariff classification and compliance with customs regulations for import and export shipments. Identifying and classifying goods will contribute to seamless customs clearance processes and exceptional customer service.

•Classify goods according to customs regulations and international harmonized system (HS) codes.
•Review shipment documentation, including invoices and packing lists, to ensure correct tariff classification.
•Collaborate with customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to obtain accurate product information and address classification queries.
•Maintain current knowledge of customs regulations, trade agreements, and tariff schedules for compliance and accurate customer advice.
•Identify and resolve discrepancies in classification and documentation, communicating proactively with stakeholders.
